I’ve had the Enagic SD501 for over 10+ years. I’ve been able to sustain the longevity of the pervious filters by cleaning them with a small electric pump and distilled vinegar to get more than the 5,000 gallons use capacity. With that said, I came across this filter in my prime search, discovered that this filter is the same stock manufacturer filter that is made for The SD501 machine, box and all. There are many vastly cheaper filters out there, but I’ve seen many buyer beware in there reviews. After a cleaning of my machine, I simply installed the filter and let it run for a few minutes. The results as you can see in the photo are excellent, lots of bubbles. I tested the ORP of the water and it’s was excellent, the flavor is great 👍🏻 Highly recommend if you have an older HG model filter fitting, and it’s a great price 👍🏻 - Customer

 

Hundreds of tiny bubbles have returned: OMG delicious

The old cheap filter I used failed so quickly (7-8 months) and we both experienced horrible itching and I had big red patches of dry skin all over my body. It was terrible. I could tell even before my first taste that this filter was of very high quality because of the hundreds of tiny tiny bubbles in my glass. The taste was so fantastic that we are gulping down mass quantities of water daily! It is so pure and refreshing! My skin is healing quickly. We are grateful for this product . After reading reviews on some cheaper brands having oring issues, I decided to go with the 5 star rated product. I was not disappointed, fit perfect and no issues. I will be buying more when the time comes. Shipping speed and packing was excellent as well. And the company checked in a bit providing contact phone numbers and such . They were checking in after purchase to make sure I had no issues. (which is the polite way of asking for a good review) So instead of a four star they get 5 for the added customer service. it is a costly filter system and the filter itself is not cheap ,so you better make sure it works well. So far so good. Remember to press the filter reset button after you install. I read other reviews saying it didn't work when they heard continued beeping and message to change filter...well I experienced this and did some digging. And totally missed the big reset button to reset the filter!!!! After I did this it worked like a charm. Now we will see how long it lasts and if the water tastes the same. I seem to taste a minor difference. We will see what my husband thinks. - Customer

 

I purchased this filter at least 5 or 6 times. It seems to last about 9-10 months. I run about 3 gallons of water per day through the filter. It is certainly less expensive than the filter from the kangen site. Also, it is delivered in a few days, not the 10-14 day range that is given when I place my order. - Customer

 

This worked perfect with my LeveLuk Jr. II. Simple to put in and turned on the water and no leaks!!! I had to pay more for this one so I hope it lasts as long as my last filter. The cheaper brand that I ordered first leaked so that company replaced it and the second one also leaked. Happy this one did not leak so I can enjoy drinking my water again! - Customer

The seller explained the difference between this HG filter and the HG N. My machine was bought before 2010. So I ordered the HG. The machine is not producing the Kangen water to my satisfaction. Thank you seller. - Customer
